Regardless of whether its a fan, sports club or promoter selling the ticket the seller always determines the price and therefore is subject to price competition on the exchange. The facts bare this out, over the past twelve months the average price of a ticket traded on the Seatwave exchange in the UK is down nearly 20% - this is during the same period that CPI increased 150 basis points. So fans are not only getting a guarantee they are also getting much better prices then ever before. Toby

There's always a suggestion that the secondary market somehow benefits consumers....Well, if it was a market place that would be right, but it isn't. It's still a stitch up..the only difference is that your stitch up comes with a guarantee and website, rather than a sheepskin and street corner.
